Message from the President
Dear Friends,
The actions we take today have a tremendous impact on eternity. Our everyday decisions regarding the possessions God has entrusted to us have eternal consequences, and our stewardship of earthly possessions is a decisive statement of our eternal values. My goal as president of the Heart of the City Foundation is to provide a vehicle to the First Presbyterian community to express those values in a biblically responsible fashion.
Building upon the long history of our scholarship fund, our leadership development programs strive to prepare future leaders to be on the front lines in the service of Jesus Christ and to keep the values we cherish today intact for generations to come. Our facilities fund has the potential to one day allow the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando to focus more on ministry and Kingdom building and less on operating expenses. Finally, our mission and seed funds provide a platform upon which innovative thinkers and givers can bring new and refreshing ideas to reality with an eternal impact.
We have a vision of supporting a completely outward-focused church community and the primary objective is to do what we can today to make that possible in the future. I enthusiastically invite you to help us build a bridge to a brighter tomorrow.
